The Grahamstown National Arts Festival is South Africa’s longest running and largest Arts Festival and I’m playing on the official Fringe Festival program, for the first time!!

I used to go hang out with my dad Marc Maingard when I was a little ankle-biter and he was a musician and burgeoning guitar maker (he is now one of the top five in the world, how rad is that!). I also played a few impromptu gigs there last year to lovely lovely crowds. The first thing I heard as I arrived last year was my album The Wild Land playing through the Monument building’s speakers. I will never forget that moment…but that’s another story:).

You can book your tickets to my shows now already!

Here are my shows in beautiful poster form, as designed by the incredibly talented Terri Hutchings ([email protected])

I am excited -and petrified- about this festival. With SO MUCH good quality art on offer, I hope I can spread the word to enough good folks so that my shows are well attended.

Please help to spread the word by liking and sharing this post on facebook, twitter, pinterest, google+, stumbleupon, etc…email it to your friends, print the poster out and paste it on your car. Do lots of lovely things and tell me about them, there’s definitely a free ticket or two for anyone awesome enough to go the extra mile on this one:). If you’re going to be at Grahamstown, I so hope to see you at my shows, this is a huge step for me and I would love to share it with you:).

See you shortly lovely people!
Love Nate

PS: I’m also playing at least one show on the way up to Grahamstown, at Stone Cottage Backpackers & Lodge in Plettenberg Bay, click here for more details.
